I also worked in Yellowstone National Park for a few months, which was a very influential experience in my life. Before working there I had never traveled much and was frankly intimidated to leave my home town. I wasn’t in school and didn’t really know what to do with myself. One day I just decided I wanted to go somewhere completely different and see the world so I got a job over there and me and one of my girl friends jumped in my car and took a roadtip cross country from the Southern most point of the United States (Key West) all the way to Montana. We made plenty of pit stops along the way to do some sight seeing and I ended up discovering a lot about myself. Funny story; I had never seen snow before I went out there so I got really excited and ran and jumped into a snow bank while wearing sandals and oh my god. Biggest. Regret. EVER. I legitamately thought my feet were going to fall off! Needless to say I did not try to do that again.. On a deeper level I also realized how deep my passion for nature was and how there are far too many cities that are poorly constructed to support the amount of people we now have occupying this planet. Ever since then I took it upon myself to collect books and research ways to practice a sustainable lifestyle. Even with as much as I learned I always felt like I could do more for the world if I really put in the effort and that’s when I decided to start going to school for Architecture after being out of school for three years. I must say I think it was probably one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. And I feel so blessed to have a friend like Chloe in my life who is always there cheering me on. Whether she’s cheering me on through school or putting things up my vagina she’s always there for me. And honestly what more could a girl want in a friend.
